You have 3 choices . .

We know that an unplanned pregnancy can create a lot of questions with no easy answers. Let us help you understand your options.

Abortion
We know how you feel and you're not alone. Some of our staff have been where you are.

If you're considering abortion, you need to know:

  • Are you really pregnant?
  • How far along are you?
  • Do you have a live pregnancy?

PSS offers free pregnancy testing and free limited first trimester ultrasound to help you answer these questions.
You deserve to know the facts.

  • What type of abortion will you have?
  • What are your rights with abortion providers?
  • Are there any short-term or long-term risks to consider?

You owe it to yourself to make an informed decision. PSS gives you accurate and truthful education on abortion procedures.
Perhaps you're thinking...

  • The father is insisting on an abortion.
  • What are your rights with abortion providers?
  • I can't tell anyone I'm pregnant.

PSS is a safe and confidential place for you to think this through. Call us today.

For more information, see the article 8 Things To Do When Considering an Abortion.

Adoption
You are in the driver's seat when making an adoption plan. Adoption is a good option for you if you:

  • Don't want an abortion and aren't ready to be a parent.
  • Want to provide your child with a 2-parent family.
  • Want to provide your child emotional and financial stability.

PSS is a safe place to talk with someone to find out if adoption is a good choice for you. PSS does not handle adoptions, but we can refer you to reputable adoption agencies that will answer your questions with no obligation.

You have choices with adoption. You can choose the adoptive family and choose whether your adoption will be open, semi-open or closed. With adoption you can have the peace of knowing your child is loved and cared for by the family you choose. An adoption agency will work with you after the adoption is final to help you through your transition.

Parenting
You may have more questions than answers about parenting or maybe the thought of becoming a parent seems impossible to you at this time. We've talked to hundreds of clients who are concerned about things like this:

  • My husband or boyfriend doesn't want the baby, but I do.
  • Or for men, my girlfriend doesn't want the baby, but I do.
  • I can't tell my family.
  • How will I finish school?
  • How will I continue working?
  • Where will I live?
  • I don't have medical insurance.
  • I can't afford a child.
  • I'm too young.

PSS is a safe and confidential place to talk about all of these issues, so you can decide if parenting is right for you.
